Android permissions

Check permissions before using floating dictation. This guide applies only to Android.

1. From the app permission setup, open Android settings and allow VoxFluens to display over other apps. Names vary by device.
2. In Android accessibility settings, enable the VoxFluens service for insertion into compatible focused text fields. Review the system explanation before enabling it.
3. Return to VoxFluens and check that both permissions are ready. After reinstalling or restarting a debug build, check again: Android may disable the accessibility service.
4. Focus a compatible text field before dictating. VoxFluens tries to insert the result into the original field. Compatibility depends on the target app; insertion is not guaranteed in every app.
5. If insertion fails, the result is copied to the clipboard and an explicit prompt lets you paste manually or copy again. Return to the field and paste. If a permission is missing, return to setup instead of repeatedly recording.
